Every purchase on Certifium is protected by our escrow system.
How Escrow Works: 1. You pay with USDC 2. Funds are held in escrow (not released to seller) 3. Seller ships the item (for delivery orders) 4. You confirm receipt 5. Funds are released to seller
**Protection Period:**
- 14-day auto-release after shipping confirmation
- Dispute window: 14 days from delivery
- Full refund if item not as described
**For Vaulted Items:**
- Physical items remain in secure vault custody
- NFT transfer is immediate
- You can verify vault status anytime
Dispute Resolution: If something goes wrong: 1. Open a dispute within 14 days 2. Provide evidence (photos, messages) 3. Our team reviews and mediates 4. Fair resolution for both parties
