How do I verify an item's authenticity?

Cross-reference certification with grading companies.

Every item on Certifium is certified by a recognized grading authority. Here's how to verify:

Verification Steps: 1. Find the certification number on the item listing 2. Visit the grading company's website 3. Enter the cert number in their lookup tool 4. Compare details (grade, description, images)

**Grading Company Websites:**

  • NGC: ngccoin.com/certlookup
  • PCGS: pcgs.com/cert
  • PSA: psacard.com/cert
  • CGC: cgccomics.com/certlookup

**What to Verify:**

  • Certification number matches
  • Grade matches listing
  • Description matches
  • Images match (if available)

**Red Flags:**

  • Cert number doesn't exist
  • Grade doesn't match
  • Description inconsistent
  • Seller avoids verification questions

Certifium Verification: We verify all items before listing. Look for the "Verified" badge on listings.
